Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains offers a year-long placement in Validation & Test Engineering at our Milton Keynes facility. You will work hands-on with powertrain testing, dynos, and test rigs, contributing to development, verification, and sign-off tests on power units and components.

The role requires active participation in engineering projects, CAD work using NX, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class solutions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering fundamentals and practical involvement in projects.
• Familiarity with CAD software for design work is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical, electronic, and software-based dyno preparation and operation.
• Design and implement upgrade projects on test rigs/dynos for powertrain components.
• Integrate equipment and instrumentation to dyno data acquisition and control systems.
• Develop CAD work using NX for part design and manufacture.
• Hands-on build and deployment of projects, upgrades, and assemblies.
• Analyze PU and Dyno data for fault finding as needed.
• Collaborate with Technical and Test teams to deliver engineering solutions.
