Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management is seeking a Food & Beverage Team Member for our Liverpool hotel to welcome guests, take and process orders, serve meals and drinks, and keep a welcoming, well‑presented dining area.

You will work closely with kitchen and bar teams, maintain high hygiene standards, and enjoy flexible working arrangements with staff perks including discounts, course sponsorship, and birthday leave.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and attentive service, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately, noting special requests.
• Serve food and beverages, maintaining high presentation standards and timing.
• Set up, clean, and reset tables and service areas for an inviting dining space.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including basic barista duties.
• Assist with inventory and restocking to keep dining areas stocked.
• Uphold hygiene and health and safety standards in the workspace.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and attentive service, making their experience enjoyable from start to finish.
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled.
• Serve food and drinks with care, keeping presentation standards high and timing smooth.
• Set up, clean, and reset tables and service areas, maintaining an inviting and well-organised dining space.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including basic barista duties and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks.
• Keep the dining area stocked by assisting with inventory and restocking supplies.
• Uphold hygiene and health and safety standards, ensuring a spotless and compliant workspace.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless service, supporting each other for a smooth operation.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• A friendly, professional approach with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
• Prior food and beverage service experience is a plus, but we welcome a willingness to learn.
• Clear communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
• A keen eye for detail, especially in order accuracy and food presentation.
• Team-focused, ready to jump in and support others to keep service flowing.
