Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management invites you to join our team as a Food & Beverage Team Member at AC Hotel Glasgow. You’ll deliver friendly, attentive service across Hazel bar & restaurant and event spaces, ensuring a memorable guest experience in a fast-paced city hotel.

You’ll work with kitchen and bar colleagues to maintain high standards, handle orders accurately, and support events while upholding hygiene and safety guidelines. A positive, proactive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional approach with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
• Clear communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
• Willingness to learn; prior food and beverage service is a plus.
• Keen eye for detail in order accuracy and food presentation.
• Team-focused and able to adapt to a fast-paced peak times.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and attentive service.
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately.
• Serve food and drinks while maintaining high presentation standards.
• Set up, clean, and reset tables and service areas.
• Assist with inventory and restocking of supplies.
• Work with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless service.
• Maintain hygiene and health and safety standards.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and attentive service, making their experience enjoyable from start to finish.
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled.
• Serve food and drinks with care, keeping presentation standards high and timing smooth.
• Set up, clean, and reset tables and service areas, maintaining an inviting and well-organised dining space.
• Set up and clear down meeting and event spaces.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including basic barista duties and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks.
• Keep the dining area stocked by assisting with inventory and restocking supplies.
• Uphold hygiene and health and safety standards, ensuring a spotless and compliant workspace.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless service, supporting each other for a smooth operation. You will be working across all Food and Beverage areas: Hazel bar & restaurant; Collectors Hall and all other event spaces.

• Prior food and beverage service experience is a plus, but we welcome a willingness to learn.
