Job summary

The Glasgow Marriott Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences across our restaurant and bar. The role offers development opportunities, including Person on Duty training and enhanced-rate Duty Manager shifts after successful training.

You will oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, lead and coach the F&B team, and support wider hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience in hospitality, food and beverage or a similar environment.
• A passion for guest service and delivering memorable experiences.
• Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines and beverage service.
• A proactive attitude and the ambition to develop your career.
• Flexibility to work shifts in line with operational requirements.
• A Personal Licence would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily restaurant and bar operations, maintaining high service standards.
• Leading, motivating and coaching the Food & Beverage team.
• Training associates and supporting their development.
• Managing shift briefings, handovers and daily reports.
• Handling guest feedback and resolving issues professionally.
• Maintaining hygiene, food safety, health and safety, and brand standards.
• Supporting wider hotel operations and Person on Duty cover as required.
