Job summary

Fowey Hall Hotel in Cornwall seeks a Food & Beverage Supervisor to support daily operations across breakfast, lunch, dinner and events. You will lead a team, deliver exceptional guest service and work closely with the kitchen to ensure seamless service in a luxury setting.

The role is permanent, 32 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £13.41 plus a generous service charge and benefits. Strong leadership and a passion for hospitality are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team-motivation skills.
• Excellent communication and guest service focus.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, wine pairing, and menu offerings.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily F&B operations across meals and events.
• Train, motivate and lead the F&B team to deliver outstanding service.
• Recruitment and performance management of front-line staff.
• Handle guest enquiries, complaints and special requests professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen for seamless front- and back-of-house communication.
• Maintain hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering to minimise waste.
