Job summary

Fowey Hall Hotel, part of Luxury Family Hotels, is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our luxury hospitality team in Cornwall. The role supports daily restaurant operations, mentoring staff, and delivering exceptional guest service.

This permanent 32-hour-per-week position offers an hourly rate of £13.41 plus generous service charge and a strong benefits package. Evening, weekend and holiday availability is required to succeed in this dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in hospitality
• Strong leadership and motivational abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of F&B service techniques and menu offerings
• Attention to detail and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily F&B operations, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
• Lead by example in providing exceptional service, training and motivating the F&B staff to deliver high-quality service and exceed guest expectations.
• Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of F&B team members.
• Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and coordination between front and back of house.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders, and ensure efficient stock rotation to minimise waste.
