Job summary

Big Mamma Group is launching a 6–9 month paid F&B Procurement Internship in the UK & Ireland. You will report to the F&B Manager and Procurement Manager, assisting stock management, supplier liaison, and data-driven sourcing across nine trattorias and the group.

You’ll also help with budget tracking and CSR initiatives, gaining exposure to procurement, logistics, and menu management. The role requires fluency in English and French, a relevant degree, and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.

• Fluent in English and French
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or in final year of a Master's, in Business, Economics, F&B Management, Engineering or Mathematics
• Outstanding organisational skills
• Genuine passion for food & beverage
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Practical mindset with interest in operations
• Analytical thinking and understanding of finance
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Help manage stock levels across UK & Ireland central warehouse, balancing lead times, seasonal changes, consumption and expiry dates while minimising waste
• Act as the link between restaurants, logistics providers and suppliers for day-to-day F&B needs
• Support sourcing and negotiations with data and analysis
• Keep procurement databases accurate and clean at group level
• Contribute to monthly purchasing budget tracking and analyse price, volume and inflation trends
• Find practical, efficient solutions to day-to-day supply and distribution issues
• Assist with import processes for products, liaising with agents and handling declarations
• Help maintain the recipe database, POS tools, menus and dietary information sheets
• Contribute data to CSR reporting and track Product Pride KPIs
• Support launch of supplier questionnaire campaign and track supplier documentation on social and environmental commitments
