Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield seeks an experienced hospitality leader to head the Brabazon Bar outlet, overseeing day-to-day operations, a large team, and delivering outstanding guest service.

You’ll recruit and train staff, work with the kitchen on menus and drinks, manage budgets, and seek improvements to maximise revenue. The Belfry offers £35,000 base plus service charge and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a large volume food and beverage and/or bar outlet.
• Strong leadership to guide and motivate the team.
• Ability to think critically, solve problems quickly and act with agility.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Collaborative, team-focused approach.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the outlet and day-to-day operations, managing the team and ensuring high-quality service.
• Recruit, train and supervise a large team and management with ongoing coaching.
• Build a culture of outstanding customer service and exceed guest expectations.
• Take accountability for financials: budgeting, cost control and profitability.
• Implement strategies to improve efficiency and revenue generation.
• Collaborate with kitchen to develop menus and beverage offerings.
• Ensure health & safety, licensing and other requirements; manage stock and supplier relationships.
