Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield, UK, is seeking a talented hospitality leader to head the Brabazon Bar outlet, manage a large team, ensure high service standards and guest experience.

You will recruit, train, coach, optimise costs, collaborate with kitchen, develop menus with beverages, and uphold health, licensing, and safety. The base salary is £35,000 per year plus service charge.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a large volume food and beverage and/or bar outlet.
• Strong leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate the team.
• Ability to think critically, solve problems quickly and act with agility.
• Effective organisation and multitasking skills.
• Collaborative and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• High levels of attention to detail.
• A genuine passion for food, drink and true hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the outlet and day-to-day operations, manage the team and guest experience.
• Recruit, train, and supervise a large team and management with ongoing coaching.
• Build a culture of outstanding customer service and exceed guest expectations.
• Take accountability for financial aspects of the outlet, budgeting and profitability.
• Implement strategies to improve efficiency and revenue generation.
• Collaborate with the kitchen to develop menus and beverages aligned to trends.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and maintain a safe environment.
• Oversee stock control, monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and manage suppliers.
