We are now recruiting an F&B Cost Controller for art'otel Battersea in London!

A premium lifestyle hotel situated in the heart of the iconic Battersea Power Station development. Perched on Electric Boulevard, the 164-key art'otel London Battersea Power Station is in the heart of this energised neighbourhood, offering restaurants, bars, shops, and galleries amidst eye-catching architecture surrounding the historical Battersea Power Station.

Role: F&B Cost Controller

You will be responsible for controlling and analysing purchases, transfers, voids, and stock management. Your duties include ensuring products meet company and hotel standards, evaluating product quality and quantity before acceptance, and recording all purchased items throughout their movement within the hotel.

Role responsibilities:
  • Investigate discrepancies between actual and theoretical results; report variances to management
  • Lead month-end stock-taking for all stores, cellars, and outlets
  • Manage stock levels and ensure accurate record keeping
  • Optimize F&B menus and cost of sales (COS)
  • Review and report on policies and procedures using system and best practices
  • Update inventory requisitions through the purchasing system
  • Maintain records for purchase orders; cancel outdated or non-returned orders
  • Input prices, menu changes, and user updates in the POS system; validate against recipes in Adaco
  • Review and sign off on suspicious void transactions
  • Seek improvements in hotel spending and cost controls, implementing actions as needed
  • Ensure proper requisitioning process for all items, using outlet and purchase requisition procedures in Adaco
