Job summary

Best Practice Network (BPN) is seeking a qualified tutor to deliver high-quality ITT training across Primary, Secondary, SEND and EYITT routes. You will manage a caseload of student teachers, provide academic guidance and ensure robust assessment and mentoring processes.

Qualifications

• QTS and mentoring experience in teaching.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality student teacher support.
• Experience with assessment or programme delivery.
• Experience across multiple phases or SEND.
• Mosaic familiarity or equivalent platforms.
• QA or professional development training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver centre- and school-based training aligned to curriculum.
• Hold a caseload of student teachers and provide academic support.
• Facilitate triad meetings with mentors and student teachers; observe lessons.
• Complete formative assessment and ensure alignment with programme criteria.
• Maintain Mosaic records and ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate with Lead Tutors and safeguarding responsibilities.
