Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a Weymouth school in Reception. The role is full-time and long-term, with start after October half term.

You will work closely with the class teacher to support learning, development and daily routines in a busy early years classroom. The successful candidate will have experience in Early Years or KS1 if possible, and a DBS check is preferable.

Qualifications

• Experience working within Early Years or KS1 is preferable.
• DBS check preferred (Update Service)
• Reliable, patient and enthusiastic team player

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning and development in Reception.
• Work one-to-one and in small groups as needed.
• Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support children's social, emotional and communication development.
• Assist with classroom activities and daily routines.
• Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
