Job summary

Kingsway Primary Academy is seeking a caring, enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join the Early Years team. You will support delivery of high-quality early years education, promote learning and wellbeing, and help create a nurturing environment where children can explore and develop key skills across the EYFS.

You will work with staff to support individual pupils and groups, reinforce language, literacy, numeracy and social skills, and contribute to a safe, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
• Level 2 or equivalent Teaching Assistant/EYFS qualification.
• Experience in EYFS and play-based learning.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high-quality early years education and wellbeing.
• Assist individuals and small groups to develop learning and independence.
• Create a safe, engaging indoor/outdoor environment and support progress.
• Follow safeguarding and school policies; contribute to observations and assessments.
