Job summary

Senploy is recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant for a friendly North London primary school. You will support Nursery or Reception pupils, helping with phonics, early literacy and numeracy under the guidance of the class teacher.

The role centers on play-based learning within the EYFS framework, safeguarding and supporting children's social, emotional and behavioural development, while assisting with learning resources and creating a safe, engaging classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience working within EYFS (Nursery or Reception).
• Friendly, patient and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support children within the EYFS framework through play-based learning.
• Assist with phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Support children's social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Help with personal care routines where necessary.
• Set up learning resources and maintain a safe classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider EYFS team.
