Job summary

Senploy is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant for a welcoming school in South East London. You will support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping create a safe, stimulating learning environment.

The ideal candidate will be patient, energetic and committed to early years education, with experience in EYFS or Nursery settings and a childcare qualification desirable. This is a full-time, term-time only role starting ASAP.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in EYFS or Nursery settings.
• Positive and caring approach.
• Ability to support children's early development and learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, proactive and reliable.
• Experience in nurseries or primary schools would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with early reading, phonics and numeracy
• Assisting with play-based learning and classroom activities
• Supporting children with speech, language and social development
• Delivering small group and 1:1 interventions
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Supporting children with additional needs when required
• Helping with classroom preparation and learning resources
