Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the FY6 area from January 2027. This full-time role supports Early Years pupils with additional needs to access learning and develop socially, emotionally, and academically.

The candidate should have EYFS experience, SEN knowledge (ASD/ADHD/speech and language), and be confident in 1:1 and small-group support, working within a nurturing team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in EYFS.
• Knowledge of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, or speech and language needs.
• Ability to support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Patient, caring and positive approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team.
• DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils within the EYFS to access learning and develop socially, emotionally and academically.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and SEN professionals to tailor support.
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
