Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant for a full-time, October-start role in Essex. You will support children in Nursery and Reception, including those with additional needs, helping them read, write, communicate and socialise.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group work, with outstanding CPD opportunities including shadowing therapists, counsellors and SENCOs, and a rewarding year ahead as you contribute to pupils’ confidence and progress.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and communication support for early years learners.
• SEN support experience or exposure is beneficial.
• Involvement in developing social and literacy skills in Nursery/Reception.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group support to children with additional needs.
• Assist children to read, write, communicate and socialise.
• Engage pupils with creative and engaging activities to promote learning.
