Remedy Education is recruiting an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN at a vibrant, inclusive SEN Primary School in Essex. Start asap, you will provide one-on-one and small group support, assist in developing IEPs, and help create a nurturing learning environment.

You will collaborate with teachers to monitor progress and support social, emotional, and academic development, ensuring safeguarding and DBS checks are in place and equal opportunities are maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience with children with SEN is desirable.
• Empathy and patience are essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are important.
• Safeguarding awareness and DBS checks are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to SEN pupils.
• Assist in developing and implementing IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers to maintain an inclusive classroom.
• Support social, emotional, and academic development of students.
• Track progress and relay feedback to teachers and parents.
• Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
