Job summary

Remedy Education seeks an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join an exceptional SEN primary school in Essex. Start ASAP, full-time role supporting students with special educational needs.

You will work within a nurturing environment, collaborating with teachers to deliver individualized support and develop social, emotional, and academic skills for young learners. DBS checks and safeguarding knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
• Understanding safeguarding and child protection principles is important.
• DBS checks and safe recruitment processes are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
• Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive classroom environment.
• Support social, emotional and academic development of students.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Maintain a positive, orderly and safe classroom setting.
