Job summary

Whitwick St John the Baptist CE Primary School in the Coalville area (Leicestershire) is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant for EYFS. The role is 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.00pm, permanent and term-time only, with a start date of 4 January 2027.

The successful applicant will support teachers in Early Years, contribute to a safe and nurturing environment, and occasionally lead provision in both creative and outdoor areas.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 qualification in teaching and learning.
• Experience supporting Early Years classes.
• Ability to lead provision in creative and outdoor areas as required.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers within Early Years classes.
• Assist with planning and delivering activities.
• Lead at times in facilitating provision in both the creative and outdoor areas.
