Leighswood School in Walsall is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years (Nursery) provision from January 2027. This full-time role is 32.5 hours per week during term time plus 5 INSET days, with a competitive annual salary.

We expect candidates to have experience with young children, build nurturing relationships with families, support learners with additional needs, and work collaboratively with teachers to raise attainment.

Full-Time Equivalent pay range £29,542 – £32,046 (£15.31 - £16.61 per hour)

The Executive Headteacher and Governors of Leighswood School are seeking to appoint a committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in our Early Years (Nursery) provision from January 2027.

We need someone who:

• Has experience of working with young children in a school environment and demonstrates high-quality interactions that support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Is able to build positive, nurturing relationships with children and their families.
• Has a good understanding of child development and can adapt provision to meet the needs of all learners.
