Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd is seeking an EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming school in Leighton Buzzard for a full-time role on a temporary-to-permanent basis. You will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons for ages 3-5, creating a safe and engaging learning environment.

You will assess progress and collaborate with families and staff to support every child’s growth. The ideal candidate holds QTS or equivalent and has experience with early years, with a solid grasp of the EYFS framework and

£29,344 - £44,919

Role and Responsibilities:

As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our youngest learners. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
• Providing a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes exploration and discovery
• Assessing and monitoring children's progress, identifying areas for growth, and implementing strategies to support their individual needs
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a strong sense of community and collaboration

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with early years children, preferably within a primary school setting
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to inspiring young learners
