Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to support nursery and reception in a mainstream primary setting. You will help deliver the EYFS curriculum through play, observation, and targeted support.

Applicants should have at least 6 months EYFS/SEN experience in a UK school, be eligible to work in the UK, and ideally hold a TA qualification. DBS update service is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months EYFS/SEN experience in a UK school.
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply).
• Good written & verbal English. TA qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the EYFS curriculum through play-based activities.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support for learners with additional needs.
• Assist the lead teacher with classroom management and learning environment.
• Contribute to pupil learning journeys by observing and recording progress.
• Support children’s social, emotional wellbeing and safety throughout the day.
