Job summary

Supply Desk is assisting a welcoming primary school in Aylesbury for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant starting November 2026. You will support early years development and work with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities.

Ideal candidates have Level 3 EYFS or equivalent, experience in EYFS, strong communication, and ability to support emotional and social development; DBS Update Service or willingness to apply; full-time or part-time roles with flexible hours and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Level 3 EYFS qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in an Early Years environment.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication skills with a patient, supportive manner.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Confidence in applying behaviour strategies that support emotional and social development.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of a creative and purposeful EYFS curriculum.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to promote learning and development.
• Provide nurturing support that encourages independence, curiosity, and confidence.
• Assist in monitoring and recording children’s progress.
• Organise resources and maintain an inviting, safe classroom environment.
• Build constructive relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers.
• Implement positive behaviour management strategies appropriate to Early Years settings.
