EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Ulverston

Position: Full Time, Monday to Friday, start ASAP, Long Term Ongoing

Are you an experienced Early Years teaching assistant with SEN experience?

Tradewind is seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join a Primary School in Ulverston as a Teaching Assistant in their reception class, supporting children with SEN. The role is full-time, five days a week, starting ASAP. Working hours are 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with daily pay rates between £89 and £99.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Support the classroom teacher in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for young children.
2. Assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons.
3. Provide one-on-one support for children with SEN.
4. Help maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.

Candidate Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 qualification.
• Experience working with Early Years children.
• SEN experience is advantageous.
• Experience in a relevant classroom environment.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references.
• CV covering the last 10 years of employment where possible.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
