Job summary

Empowering Learning Group in Newcastle is seeking Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join a large chain of private nurseries. Roles available full-time and part-time with a daily rate of £95–£110. You will create a safe, stimulating environment and support children from babies to primary school age.

Applicants must have Level 3 EYFS, be DBS cleared or willing to obtain one, and provide two professional references. A caring, patient approach and safeguarding commitment are essential.

• Level 3 Early Years qualification essential for nursery ratios.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children.
• Support children's learning and development through play and daily activities.
• Plan and participate in fun activities across age ranges from babies to primary school.
• Deliver caring support including everyday duties such as nappy changes.
• Work as part of a friendly nursery team, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
• Help every child feel valued and encouraged.

Empowering Learning Group are working in partnership with a large and well-established chain of private day nurseries across the Newcastle area, and we're looking for enthusiastic, dependable and caring Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join their teams.

What will you be doing?

As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can flourish.

You could be working with children ranging from babies through to primary school age, supporting their development through play, learning and everyday experiences.

Your role may include:

• Supporting children's learning and development
• Planning and participating in fun, engaging activities
• Providing a warm, caring and nurturing environment
• Working with children from babies through to primary school age
• Supporting with everyday care, including nappy changing
• Working positively as part of a friendly nursery team
• Following safeguarding, health and safety and Early Years procedures
• Helping every child feel valued, supported and encouraged

• Level 3 qualified in Early Years - essential for nursery ratios
• Dependable, reliable and professional
• Enthusiastic and genuinely passionate about working with children
• Happy and confident working with children of different ages
• Comfortable with all aspects of childcare, including nappy changing

• Committed to safeguarding and creating a safe environment for children

Safeguarding & References

You must:

• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to purchase a new Enhanced DBS
• Be able to provide two years of professional work and/or education references
• Meet the safeguarding requirements for working within an Early Years setting
