Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Sunderland from September. This full-time, long-term position offers the opportunity to become an integral part of an Early Years team.

The successful candidate will support children's learning in the EYFS setting, deliver phonics interventions to small groups, assist with planning, and help develop pupils' social, emotional, and educational development in a positive, inclusive

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, or equivalent.
• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and phonics interventions.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across the EYFS classroom.
• Deliver phonics interventions to small groups.
• Assist with planning and preparation of learning activities.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and educational development.
• Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to staff.
