Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Gateshead is hiring a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school on a full-time, long-term basis starting 1 September. You will support the class teacher in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The role focuses on delivering engaging learning experiences, one-to-one and small group support, and helping create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can thrive. A Level 3 EYFS qualification is required and commitment from day one.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (EYFS-recognised).

Are you a passionate and qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Early Years?

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Gateshead. This is a full-time, long-term position starting 1st September, offering the opportunity to become a valued member of a supportive school community.

You’ll be working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting pupils during a crucial stage of their development. Working closely with the class teacher, you’ll help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or an equivalent EYFS-recognised qualification).
• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Availability to commit to a full-time, long-term role from 1st September.
