Job summary

Aspire People are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years team at a welcoming primary school in the UK, starting in September 2026. The role focuses on Nursery/Reception support, 1:1 and small-group interventions, and phonics delivery.

The ideal candidate will have EYFS knowledge, a Level 3 TA qualification, and recent UK primary school experience. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for permanent employment and CPD training.

Qualifications

• Has Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent) with EYFS knowledge.
• Recent UK primary school experience within last 2 years.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; supports phonics and early maths.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within Nursery or Reception.
• Deliver small-group and 1:1 interventions for early development.
• Assist with phonics, early maths, communication, and language activities.
• Encourage learning through play and child-led activities.
• Support children's social, emotional and personal development.
• Work closely with the class teacher and EYFS team.
