Job summary

Aspire People are working in partnership with a 2-form entry Primary School in Chorlton. The Early Years lead is looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team as soon as possible. This long-term role will support the EYFS, based with a Reception class, supporting pupils in these early stages of their education.

The role is full time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:30, term time only. You will work closely with the class teacher, support phonics delivery, and help children with

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification required or equivalent.
• Experience in early years or primary settings preferred.
• Passion for working with children and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS framework and how to support child development inline with the key areas.
• Be confident with the basics of phonics delivery, supporting this early key development with pupils.
• Work closely with the class teacher to ensure all pupils have access to a rich and engaging learning experience.
• Support children with SEND by helping them overcome barriers to learning and adapting resources.
• Create a nurturing and positive environment that ensures children feel welcomed and safe.
