Job summary

Aspire People are seeking a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to support young learners in a North Manchester primary school. The role focuses on early intervention, language development and strong learning foundations.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification, have EYFS experience, and possess Paediatric First Aid. Monday to Friday schedule, full-time, long-term placement with competitive rates.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Teaching Assistant status.
• Previous EYFS/Nursery setting experience.
• Paediatric First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development within an EYFS setting.
• Deliver engaging play-based activities to develop communication, language and listening skills.
• Support early phonics, reading and numeracy.
• Encourage personal, social and emotional development.
• Observe children’s progress and contribute to assessments.
• Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs and work with teachers and other staff.
