Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant in Chorley to support pupils throughout the academic year. The role focuses on early years development, promoting communication and social skills in a nurturing classroom environment.

Experience with EYFS is valued; Level 3 EYFS is beneficial but not mandatory. DBS checks are required or can be arranged. Competitive pay and ongoing school support are provided during the placement.

Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Chorley
Length of Role: Academic Year (Flexible Start Date Available up to October Half Term for the Right Candidate)
Pay Rate: £14.25 - £16.00 per hour
Type of Setting: Mainstream Primary School

A vibrant and welcoming mainstream primary school in Chorley is looking to appoint an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to support pupils throughout the academic year.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with young learners during the critical Early Years Foundation Stage, supporting their development and helping them achieve key learning milestones.

A Level 3 Early Years Qualification would be beneficial but is not essential for applicants with relevant experience and a passion for early years education.

  • Support pupils within the EYFS setting.
  • Assist with classroom activities, learning through play, and early intervention work.
  • Promote children's communication, language, and social development.
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and creative lessons.
