Job summary

Randstad Education in Horley, Surrey is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our supportive team. You will care for children aged 0-5, plan engaging EYFS activities, act as Key Person, and help maintain a safe, stimulating environment.

You must hold a Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ/CACHE), have EYFS experience, be confident with safeguarding, and be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Proven EYFS experience in a nursery setting.
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person to a designated group of children, tracking progress and supporting development.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate EYFS activities.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and safeguarding across the setting.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues through clear communication.
• Assist with day-to-day nursery routines, including mealtimes, rest periods and outdoor play.
