Job summary

GLF Schools seeks an EYFS Learning Assistant at Marden Lodge Primary School to support the early years team and help create a nurturing, engaging environment where every child can thrive. You will work closely with the EYFS Leader to deliver high-quality play-based learning, support individual children as a key worker, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive school community.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above.
  • Completion of a Level 2 childcare qualification (Level 3 desirable).
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training and awareness of safeguarding principles.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Responsibilities

  • Support young children's learning and development through play.
  • Act as a key worker to individual children, promoting safety and well-being.
  • Work with the EYFS Leader to deliver high-quality early years learning experiences.

Job description

Marden Lodge Primary School are seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Learning Assistant Level 2 to join our early years team and help create a nurturing, engaging environment where every child can thrive.

Your Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting young children's learning and development through play, ensuring their safety and well-being, and making a meaningful difference in their early educational journey. Working closely with our EYFS Leader and team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences, supporting individual children as a key worker, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school community.

What we're looking for:
  • A good general education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above).
  • Completion of a Level 2 childcare qualification (level 3 would be desirable but not essential)
  • Up to date safeguarding training
  • Good understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage

Salary: GLF Associate 2 Point 1 - £23,914

Actual Salary: £7,352.96

Hours: 13 Hours per week,
