Job summary

Marden Lodge Primary School in Tandridge seeks an EYFS Learning Assistant Level 2 to join our early years team. You will help create a nurturing, engaging environment where every child can thrive, working closely with our EYFS Leader to support learning through play and ensure children's safety and wellbeing.

The role involves supporting individual children as a key worker, delivering high-quality learning experiences, and contributing to a positive, inclusive school community.

Qualifications

  • A good general education, including GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or above).
  • Completion of a Level 2 childcare qualification (level 3 desirable).
  • Up to date safeguarding training.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
  • Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage.

Responsibilities

  • Support early years learning through play and planned activities.
  • Assist with delivering high-quality learning experiences as a key worker.
  • Work closely with the EYFS Leader to support individual children and the team.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school community and safeguarding practices.

Marden Lodge Primary School are seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Learning Assistant Level 2 to join our early years team and help create a nurturing, engaging environment where every child can thrive.

Your Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development through play, ensuring their safety and well-being, and making a meaningful difference in their early educational journey. Working closely with our EYFS Leader and team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences, supporting individual children as a key worker, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school community.

What we’re looking for:
  • A good general education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above).
  • Completion of a Level 2 childcare qualification (level 3 would be desirable but not essential)
  • Up to date safeguarding training
  • Good understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage
