Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming team in Horley, Surrey. You will be responsible for acting as a Key Person, planning EYFS-aligned activities, and ensuring safety and wellbeing in a vibrant early years setting.

The role requires a valid Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification, EYFS experience, and strong communication with families and staff. A DBS check and a collaborative mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 3 Early Years / Childcare holder with EYFS knowledge.
• Evidence of safeguarding procedures and child protection awareness.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as Key Person for a designated group of children and track progress.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and safeguarding.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues through clear communication.
• Assist with daily nursery routines including meals, rest and outdoor play.
