Job summary

Learn Academies Trust is seeking a dedicated teacher to deliver a broad, balanced curriculum and monitor pupil progress. The role focuses on enabling pupils to reach their potential within the EYFS framework and beyond, in a supportive school environment.

You will plan lessons, contribute to school development plans, and collaborate with a team to promote welfare and high standards across the trust.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (or equivalent) is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or equivalent teaching qualification, or a degree plus PGCE.
• Enhanced DBS check for safeguarding children in the UK.
• Evidence of participation in further professional development or study.
• Basic first aid training.

Job description

To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.

To monitor and support the overall progress and development of pupils as a teacher.

To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.

To contribute to raising standards of pupil attainment.

To share and support the schools' responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal growth and enjoyment.

To assist in the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies and teaching strategies in the Curriculum Area and Department.

To contribute to the achievement of the school's development plan and its implementation.

To plan and prepare lessons.

To contribute to the whole school's planning activities.

Consider promoting and safeguarding pupils' welfare as paramount, and action in accordance with the responsibility 'in loco parentis'.
Previous experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is essential for this role.

• Enhanced DBS check (in the UK) for safeguarding children. (E)
• Evidence of participation in further professional development or study (D)
• Basic first aid training (D)·
  Part time, fixed term for the duration of a maternity leave.

M1 to M6, 0.8 FTE , 52 weeks a year. Salary: £31,916 to 45,352 (FTE), Our Schools/Trust and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
