Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Optometry team member for our Spec Shop in Coventry. You will dispense spectacles under supervision and advise patients on fit and comfort, while maintaining frames and assisting with stock checks.

The role involves glazing using in-house equipment and providing support to a Dispensing Optician. You will contribute to a patient‑centred service and help ensure smooth administrative functions in clinics.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing spectacles under the guidance of a Dispensing Optician.

• Keeping the Spec Shop organized and customer-ready.
• Monitoring and managing stock levels.
• Supporting administration and assisting with basic clinical duties when required.
