Exeter A Learning Community Academy is seeking a caring Early Years Lunchtime Midday Supervisor to join the team. This role focuses on supervising children during lunch periods, supporting their eating, and promoting safe, positive play in a warm school environment.

You'll help maintain health and safety, assist with setting up lunchtime areas, and report any concerns to staff. This temporary post offers 5 hours weekly across 38 weeks per year.

Early Years Lunchtime Midday Supervisor

Hours: 5 hours per week

Working Weeks: 38 weeks per year

Contract Type: Temporary, until 31/08/2027

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Lunchtime Midday Supervisor to join our friendly primary school community and early years team. We are proud of our warm, welcoming environment-and we want someone who will support our youngest children during the lunchtime period, helping to create a safe, happy and nurturing environment.

What you'll do:

Supervising children during lunch periods and outdoor play.

Supporting children with eating their meals and promoting good table manners.

Encouraging positive play and social interaction.

Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all children at all times.

Assisting with the setting up and clearing away of lunchtime areas where required.

Managing minor incidents and reporting any concerns to appropriate staff.

Promoting the school's values and behaviour expectations.
