Radis Community Care is seeking an Extra Care Team Leader to oversee our team delivering care within an extra care housing complex in Weston-super-Mare. You will mentor Support Workers, coordinate schedules, and ensure personalised support plans keep residents independent and safe.

The role focuses on person-centred, high-quality care for older adults and individuals with disabilities, with a 37.5-hour contract and opportunities for development within a supportive environment.

Formación

• Minimum of one year in a Team Leader / Senior role.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care; willing to work toward Level 3.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and adaptable to changing needs.

Responsabilidades

About the Role

As a Team Leader in our Extra Care Service, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality support to people living independently within their own homes in the extra care complex. Our approach emphasizes understanding and responding to the unique needs of each individual, helping them maintain their independence while ensuring their well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conducting supervisions, team meetings, and mentoring Support Workers to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Coordinating schedules and allocating tasks to maintain personalized support plans for each person.
• Supporting people with daily living activities such as medication, mobility, and personal care when needed.
• Building positive relationships within the extra care community.

Skills and Qualifications

Additional Requirements

• A driving license and access to a vehicle are advantageous as occasional travel may be required.
