Job summary

Radis Community Care is hiring a Team Leader for our Extra Care service in Weston-super-Mare. You will supervise Support Workers, mentor the team, and coordinate schedules to deliver person-centred care in the extra care complex.

The role requires a year in a Team Leader/Senior position, and NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care with progression toward Level 3. You will communicate effectively and adapt to changing needs, supporting residents with daily living activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in a Team Leader / Senior role.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care required, with a willingness to work toward Level 3.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the people we support.

Responsibilities

• Conducting supervision, team meetings, and mentoring Support Workers to ensure high care standards.
• Coordinating schedules and allocating tasks to maintain personalized support plans.
• Supporting people with daily living activities such as medication, mobility and personal care when needed.
• Building positive relationships within the extra care community.
