Job summary

Care Outlook is seeking a Deputy Manager to support and lead our Extra Care Scheme, Marten House, in the South East. The role focuses on day-to-day scheme operations and delivering high-quality resident care.

You will manage staff, ensure compliance with CQC standards, and maintain effective communications with service users, families and stakeholders. A UK driving license and leadership experience are desirable assets.

Qualifications

• 1 year managerial experience in the care sector.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Support and oversee the day-to-day operations of the schemes.
• Ensure the highest quality of care for residents.
• Communicate with service users and families in a dignified, person-centred manner.
• Provide management, leadership and support to all staff.
• Assist with dignified personal care and domestic tasks as needed.
• Maintain good communication with commissioners, service users, relatives and social work teams.
• Ensure staff training and access to learning opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and strive for best care standards.
• On call duties.
