Job Purpose

Responsible for maximizing the company's profitability and business development within the West Midlands region, aligning with the overall budget and sales targets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage the budget and overall performance in your area, meeting targets.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with customers, internal managers, and sales teams.
  • Set regional strategy with the line manager.
  • Build relationships with key suppliers and hauliers.
  • Assist in training and developing internal coordinators.
  • Identify new business opportunities across product lines (bagging, paving, blocks).
  • Lead training sessions on selling techniques and product knowledge.
  • Present monthly updates and set team objectives.
  • Develop marketing ideas to engage customers and add regional value.
  • Coordinate with sales and operations teams to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor competitor activity and its impact.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reports and paperwork.
  • Collaborate with Ops and transport teams for quality service.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Training, Qualifications, and Experience
  • Full UK Driving License (Essential).
  • Residency in the West Midlands and willingness to travel and stay overnight (Essential).
  • Experience in External/Field Sales (Essential).
  • Knowledge of building materials product range.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
