Your Role: Technical Sales Champion

Drive specification and sales of Peikko's industry-leading product portfolio, with a primary focus on our comprehensive range of Connection Technology for precast and cast-in-situ construction, while also providing support for our flagship DELTABEAM Slim Floor Structures. Advise designers, engineers, and contractors, demonstrating how Peikko adds value – faster, safer, more sustainable builds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure Specifications: Engage early with designers/engineers to get Peikko products specified, focusing primarily on Connection Technology solutions while also supporting DELTABEAM projects. Provide expert technical support across the relevant product ranges.
  • Build Relationships: Nurture long-term connections with key industry players.
  • Market Development (UK): Identify and pursue new business within the UK.
  • Manage Sales Cycle: Oversee the process from lead to close, meeting targets.
  • Collaborate & Report: Work with internal teams and maintain CRM records.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Proven technical/specification sales success in UK construction (structural products ideal). Significant relevant industry experience combined with a strong technical aptitude is key. A solid understanding of structural engineering principles (concrete/steel) is crucial.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Full UK Driving License.

Beneficial/Desirable:

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification. While not essential, it is highly beneficial.
  • Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of the construction market and practices in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Familiarity with the precast concrete sector and its key players.
