External Account Manager – Food Ingredients
Global Ingredients Distributor
Fully Remote Role
• Salary up to £45,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
• Region covered is London, Bristol & Swansea

The Company
This organisation is a leading player in Chemicals and Ingredients for the FMCG market. They supply products to sectors including food, pharmaceuticals, and automotive. As a global operation, they are established in over 75 countries, offering stability and career progression.
The Role
You will be responsible for the area from London to the Midlands and surrounding regions. This is a fully remote, client-facing role involving on-the-road visits. Your duties include:
• Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual profit and growth targets for your region
• Collaborating with the Technical Sales Manager to maximize sales opportunities
• Business Development: creating new trading accounts and managing existing relationships
• Developing sales plans and managing accounts through calls and visits.
Products include flavours & colours, acidulants, shelf-life regulators, starches, oils & fats, vitamins, amino acids, phosphates, stabilizers, etc.
Customers include bakers, confectionery, food supplements, food processing, and beverage sectors.
Your Skills & Experience
To qualify, you should have:
• B2B sales experience in food and/or ingredients
• A full, clean driving license
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable with figures for reporting and customer pricing
• A proven track record of increasing sales figures and margins
