Urban Planters is seeking a Landscaping Operative based in Alfreton to join a busy team. The role involves travelling between sites in the company van and delivering high-quality interior and exterior planting services across our client sites.

The position requires a full UK driving licence, gardening experience, and strong communication. You will contribute to projects, help with paperwork, and support health & safety on site while enjoying a stable full-time role with progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

The Role

Position: Landscaping Operative

Location:Alfreton

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Basic salary from £29,431 per annum

Reporting To: Team Leader

Working as a Landscaping Operative, you will travel between sites in the company van ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing customer base.

This is an opportunity for someone to work within a small landscaping team assisting with projects requiring both soft and hard landscaping. A large amount of travel is involved within this role

Your main duties will include:

• To assist with the completion of landscaping dockets
• To complete timesheets and ensure all paperwork is handed in promptly
• To act at all times as a representative of the company and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied
• To initiate suggestions and report customer comments for improvement to the company’s performance
• To comply with all relevant Health & Safety requirements
• Undertake other duties as required by management

Qualifications & Experience:

• Full UK drivers licence
• Garden maintenance experience is essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous
• Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but is not essential
