Job summary

Urban Planters is seeking an Exterior Maintenance Technician to service sites across Chester into Shropshire. You’ll be on site, carrying out grass cutting, hedging, pruning and routine grounds maintenance to keep our exterior plantings looking their best.

The role is full-time (40 hours) with a competitive salary and opportunities for progression. A Full UK driving licence and plant knowledge are preferred, along with the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Full UK drivers licence is required.
• Garden maintenance experience is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting and strimming.
• Shrub pruning, plant care and hedge cutting.
• Weed maintenance.
• Using a range of powered and non-powered horticulture equipment.
• Complete all digital records required through smartphone application.
• Liaising with customers.
• Autumn clearing.
• Spring preparation.
• Mowing.
• Heavy lifting will be required.
