Job summary

Urban Planters is seeking an Exterior Maintenance Technician to work on site across Chester and surrounding Shropshire locations. You will perform outdoor maintenance for our growing exterior client base, ensuring high standards of service and safety.

The role involves grass cutting, pruning, weed control, mowing, and use of horticulture equipment, with heavy lifting. You will complete digital records via smartphone app and liaise with customers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Garden maintenance experience essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Plant knowledge advantageous.
• Horticulture qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting and strimming.
• Shrub pruning, plant care and hedge cutting.
• Weed maintenance.
• Use of powered and non-powered horticulture equipment.
• Complete digital records via smartphone app.
• Liaise with customers.
• Autumn clearing and Spring preparation.
• Mowing.
• Heavy lifting will be required.
