Jump Lane Recruitment is working with a leading express parcel and freight forwarding company to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their Colnbrook team. You will prospect, build relationships, and develop proposals to win new business.

The role requires a track record in courier/logistics sales, strong negotiation and bid-writing skills, and the ability to manage pipelines end to end. A competitive salary up to £50k with generous commission awaits.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning business in courier/logistics.
• Experience writing bids or tenders desirable.
• Strong project planning and financial modeling to support bid activity.
• Ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet targets and deadlines.
• Familiarity with CRM databases and strong IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for potential new clients and increase business.
• Cold call within market to ensure a robust pipeline.
• Meet potential clients and develop relationships.
• Identify decision makers and build relationships with new clients.
• Plan approaches and pitches and develop proposals that meet client needs.
• Participate in pricing the solution and handle objections.
• Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
• Work with internal teams to meet customer needs and develop revenue streams.
• Attend industry events and provide market feedback.
