The successful candidate will lead 3 Export Account Coordinators, oversee 900+ accounts worldwide, and work with HubSpot CRM to optimise pipelines, quotations and delivery schedules.

Job description

Inspire resourcing is recruiting an Export Team Leader for our client, a well-established and growing business supplying consumable products to customers across the global market. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and commercially focused Export Team Leader to manage international customer accounts and lead a small export team.

As Export Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a small team of Export Account Coordinators while ensuring exceptional service is delivered to a portfolio of over 900 international customer accounts. You will play a key role in driving customer engagement, managing export processes, coordinating sample shipments, and ensuring all opportunities are followed through from enquiry to order.

This is a hands‑on leadership role that requires excellent organisational skills, strong export administration knowledge, and experience using CRM systems, particularly HubSpot.

Duties include:

• Lead, motivate and support a team of 3 Export Account Coordinators.
• Manage and develop relationships with over 900 active customer accounts worldwide.
• Utilise HubSpot CRM to track customer activity, manage pipelines, record communications, and identify sales opportunities.
• Coordinate the dispatch of product samples to prospective and existing customers.
• Proactively follow up sample deliveries to generate sales opportunities and obtain customer feedback.
• Liaise with international customers regarding quotations, orders, product availability, and delivery schedules.
• Manage export documentation and ensure compliance with international shipping requirements.
• Coordinate shipments through courier partners
• Resolve customer queries and delivery issues efficiently and professionally.
• Monitor team performance and implement improvements to customer service and account management processes.
• Produce reports on customer activity, sales opportunities, and export performance.
• Work closely with internal departments including Sales, Operations, Logistics and Customer Service.

Skills Required:

• Previous experience within an Export, International Sales Support, Export Administration or Export Customer Service role.
• Proven experience managing or supervising a small team.
• Strong working knowledge of HubSpot CRM.
• Experience handling a large volume of customer accounts.
• Knowledge of export documentation and international shipping processes.
• Experience working with couriers such as DHL, UPS and TNT.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Desirable

• Experience within a manufacturing, consumables or product-based business.
• Understanding of global distribution networks and export compliance requirements.
• Additional language skills would be advantageous.
• Languages such as Russian, Spanish, French
